Hemp Climbing Ropes This 1-1/2” diameter rope contains 12% to 18% special rope lubricant for long life and is securely attached within a heavy-duty steel fitting for years of durability. If ordered with rubber knots, the knots are securely anchored every 12”. Soft Dacron Ropes Soft dacron ropes are ideal for elementary physical education programs. No-twist spun dacron material is easier on the hands than hemp ropes, while giving just the right feel for a comfortable grip. Dacron ropes will wear better than cotton and will not cause the allergic reactions that are possible with treated ropes. Hemp Collegiate Ropes The highest quality physical education rope. This rope has a special 9” vinyl boot on the end and is custom made to allow 42” of our prime soft hemp to lie on the floor allowing rope to be well secured as climbing takes place.
